Vas’kha is a hard-working woman who seems very serious at first glance, but can be pretty laid-back with her loved ones. She has a tendency to be reckless when trying to protect said loved ones, sometimes getting hurt in the process.
Background
Born on the cold Central Island, Vas’kha was orphaned very young, her parents killed in a war between her village and a neighboring one aiming to expand. Armed with only a broken-off sword too big for her small body, she fled with her younger brother Nahki in tow. Betrayed by adults, she learned not to trust anyone but herself to protect them. Until, one day, a half-elf woman with piercing red eyes, Hamael, made her an offer.
“I need not your trust. This is a business proposal. Work for me, and I will make sure you and your brother are fed and safe.”
And from this day on, Vas’kha and, as he grew older, Nahki, worked for Hamael’s clinic. Until, one day, Vas’kha wakes from a wound that should have been fatal, now the vessel of the Memory of the Earth, Memoria.
Per Hamael’s request, she takes a young, amnesiac half-elf, Eï, for advanced treatment on another island, her brother Nahki in tow. However, it seems his condition is not one that can be treated through medicine alone and will require much more travel…and hardships.

- Her original hair color is blonde, but most of her hair aside from one strand became purple after she was chosen by Memoria.
- The golden band in her braid was given by Anyllah as an engagement gift.

Childhood friends and partners, Vas’kha and Anyllah met as children and eventually grew to love each other romantically and even get engaged. Anyllah loves Vas’kha deeply, but can’t help but worry about her needlessly reckless behavior. Meanwhile, Vas’kha fully trusts Anyllah and would go to great lengths to protect her.
Hamael

Hamael gave Vas’kha and her brother food and a home, essentially saving their lives. In exchange, she asked for Vas’kha to work for her at the clinic. While Hamael appreciates Vas’kha’s willingness to go all out to help, she laments how many times she ends up becoming her patient because of her recklessness. Although their relationship started purely as a pseudo “business transaction”, Vas’kha grew to respect Hamael and her work ethic.
Nahki
Siblings
Due to their being orphaned young and Vas’kha being older by seven years, she’s always acted more like Nahki’s mother than his sister, working hard to keep him fed and healthy. Now that he’s older, she has trouble dealing with him being grown enough to be independent from her. Even more with the way the roles have started reversing, as he is determined to repay her for her past care and protection.
Sometimes though, it’s as if Nahki is the older brother…
