Earth was once joined, its lands bountiful with magic. After the unnatural rise to godhood of a broken girl and the following creation of a seal to keep her destruction contained, it was split in half under the weight of the spell. Half of it floated up into the sky, while the other half stayed under, both lands separated by a thick layer of charged clouds.
