Parent location: Corrupted Earth
What people call “the plains” is a huge wasteland that was ravaged by the Great Corruption. Nothing more than weeds grow there, and the only fauna you will find are monsters of all sorts. The easiest way to go from one settlement to another is through the plains, because they are at the center of it all. Even so, people tend to avoid the “easy route” because it is very perilous, and the flat terrain means that it is impossible to hide from monsters.
Nobody lives there aside from monsters. Some demons can be seen walking the plains from time to time, and one of them will even help travelers in need, but they don’t live there either.
In its center lies a mysterious hole, said to be the origin of all corruption. Nobody knows what’s inside because the corruption there is so thick that it makes everyone who approaches it sick.
Inside the crater, a single soul awaits.
