Personality
Nao often seems “empty”, not expressing himself much nor emoting at all. He obeys his master without question.
Before the pact, he was much livelier.
Background
A mysterious young man who burst out of a huge pipe that led to the Underworld, closely followed by a beastly Phantasm that Lian managed to kill by making a pact with him. He is quiet and ignorant about the surface.
When Lian uses her sword, he fuses with it, giving both it and Lian a different appearance : the sigils on the sword glow yellow, the blade becomes blood red, while Lian’s hair and eyes become much brighter.
Along his left leg are the same sigils than on Lian’s sword. They glow red right before he fuses with her sword.
Although he came from there, and has supposedly lived his whole life there, Nao barely has any memories of the underworld before his daring escape from its metal tunnels.
Trivia
- Nao barely feels any pain, and doesn’t need to sleep nor eat, as is typical of Phantasms.

Pact Partners
Nao was being hunted by a beastly Phantasm when he met Lian. There, they immediately made a pact so she could use his powers and slay it. Ever since, he feels compelled to stay by her side at all times.
Lian was at first put off by how clingy Nao is with her, but she eventually developed a soft spot for him, treating him like a younger brother in need of guidance.
